She has always been one of my favorite villains. She uses her sexuality as a weapon and I think thats fantastic. Especially when you compare it to a lot of “tough” girls depicted in different franchises. For example in order to be a strong fighter and a woman in the Game of Throne series you have to be basically so ugly people think your a man. In the books Arya Stark, Brienne of Tarth, and Yara Greyjoy are shown this way. And its only when a woman is a fighter does she also have to be sort of mannish. Men don’t like being beaten by a girl so its easier if they are basically men too. Khaleesi may be a strong woman but because she doesn’t fight therefore she can still be pretty. Poison Ivy says screw that and uses her sexuality as an advantage and I think that is more pro-feminism than a lot of modern women fighters.
